But Motorola is known for it's little bit poor updates and upgrades, probably it has two years of Android upgrades, So Android 15 and 16, because Google has sharperner their conformation rules to producers. So probably also a year longer, instead of two years, they probably will go for three years security and system updates.

Motorola couldn't provide Android 14 update to g54 on time so they released g64 as rebranded g54 with Android 14 ^_^

First of all having Mediat... moreMotorola rarely has rom development because its popularity is very low and Android 14 is fine because it is the latest stable version.
On the other hand, Xiaomi can't say the same because they love to ship older versions of Android, they even launched the Redmi Note 13 series earlier to offer Android 13.

The presence of a modern chipset and a large battery is commendable, but the lack of an AMOLED display is less appealing.
One OS upgrade may not seem significant because these phones are typically designed for a lifespan of 2 years at most.

First of all having Mediatek is a ccurse ..No Custom ROM support
Second despite having finest hardware ,the software is Good Since it is HelloUI ,and it may have limited update cycle around 1OS and 3 yrs of sec update..
Third it's update cycle is irregular ..Android 14 already cominh in devices around September/October2023..and most of phones are pushed at Feb-March 2024

I've used the Dimensity 920 as well, in the Zero Ultra, which is an overclocked Dimensity 900 yes, and I agree that it's a fantastic chipset.

However this chipset is an overclocked Dimensity 930/7020, which is a weak, especially when it comes to its GPU.

DarlingYext, 13 Apr 2024Doesn't matter with this chipset, which is probably th... moreIts basically Dimensity 900 which has been rebranded gazillion times with a bit overclock. Its not a bad chipset as I'm currently using since 2 years on my Realme 9 Pro+ if the phone costs around $200 (15k inr(
