The a5s is actually a very good phone because it has a good cam it can also do great in high graphics in ml and codm.
I bought this phone 2019 and it is still working with no lags

Been using this since 2019 and it's 2024. It's still good although it becomes slow for past 5 yrs. I can say its my partner in online class. It's only 32gb and 3gb of ram but still, good performance back in the days

I have been using this since 2019. I bought it mainly for my online class and at that time my demand was not that high. And talking about phone this is I could say decent from my experience it works really well but as it gets old it gets slow and it's charging drains faster. But I could say overall it is a good option who are looking for a long term Investment in a short price and not so focused on the camera or the performance at this price point it gives you everything.

Man I love this phone so much. I have this since March 2020. And many years later I checked the OS, it's discontinued. And I really miss this phone so much.

The phone is great at the time that I buy it in 2020 sadly the phone ic died in 2023 even though I planned to give it to my grandpa who is still using a 4 core itel phone with terrible camera I know a5s is a cheap phone but having it suddenly dead when I woke up is somewhat disappointing

What can I say this phone has a super battery life, it screen on time is 8 hours if you only watch youtube and play social media. But when you turn on hotspot, it drains really fast. And the fake 21 GB storage, I can't deny that. The photo apps take up to 20 GB storage while my photo only 600mb in settings, I only install Clash of Clans and only 2 GB storage left.

One specific reason might be ColorOS takes up that much space for it to run smoothly in the background and effectively manage all resources and restrict any unwanted app background activity, whether system or user-downloaded app.

I don't know if I'm late in saying this but, if you're interested, you can flash a gsi Android 10 rom on this phone. If you're like not so comfortable with the colorOS I'd say you should give that a try. There's a whole discussion on xda about unlocking bootloader, rooting it, flashing roms etc. Personally I feel oppo should have supported this device till Android 10 but they didn't. 😔
