The SD7+Gen2 is based on the Improved SD8+Gen1 which uses TSMC's 4nm node which is the same process node that is used by godly efficient chips like the 8Gen2, and Dimensity 8100.
Its widely reported by many sites like XDA, Android Authority, Anandtech etc, etc that the 7+Gen2 is a TSMC chip. So expect good efficiency.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2023Clearly a worse option than Note 12 turbo - no 3.5mm jack a... moreI was thinking same, but after looking at the renders of 12 turbo, its too thin to dissipate the monstrous heat generated by cortex x2 core, this phone will throttle badly. And I think they will slap same graphite cooling like other note 12 devices, and if this happens its done. They must implement vapour chamber or water cooling

Clearly a worse option than Note 12 turbo - no 3.5mm jack and no Camera OIS.
A little bigger screen is nice, but can't compensate for the rest.
And from what i've seen, realme has pretty crappy speakers too, so the Redmi is a clear winner.
