Realme has been on roll lately in the budget segment with its Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro but the company hasn’t forgotten its older devices as it plans to bring Android Pie beta in the coming month.

The company announced several key updates and features coming to Realme devices in its weekly solutions forum post. Last year’s Realme 2 Pro is first in line for the Android Pie beta update which is scheduled to arrive by May 15. The Realme 1 and Realme U1 are getting it on June 5, followed by the Realme 2 and Realme C1 on June 15. According to Realme, the transition period from beta to final build should take just 15 to 20 days.

Other novelties coming with Color OS 6 include a Digital Wellbeing feature and Hyper Boost 2.0. The Realme 3 Pro will receive some OTA camera improvements to its Chroma Boost and Nightscape modes as well as improvements to the performance of the slow-mo video.

Realme also mentioned it's working on a stock recovery tool to help in case of any problems with flashing custom ROMs.
