Cllassic, 02 Jun 2024Did you notice anything setting ramplus to 6gb?In my experience ramplus made apps stay open in the background for longer, while when turned off apps reload all the time. I have the 6gb ram version btw

Guys delete cache partition after the update, disable all the bloatware that you don't use, use ram plus at 6gb, in the dev options limit the background processes to just 4, use 120hz mode(the animations are made for 120hz, 60hz feels jittery and inconsistent compared to my old moto z which feels smooth even tho it's at 60hz) also i found out that opera was eating all the ram especially when you open multiple tabs, i switched to via browser
Now my phone smooth on oneui 6.1 and i don't get any audio crackles via bluetooth

Excellent phone before last update. Still great overall - but recently hot, sluggish, & battery drains very quickly. Either way, this is the best phone I can find that carriers offer currently.

I have the galaxy a54 fore 5 months naw, srs fore the price is the best samsung out there. the battery amaizing, the display amaizing the procesor not laggy at all, the cameras... hmmm not bad they OK. but fore the price is a real G.

This phone will receive 4 years of software updates which includes android 13 14 15 and 16 which is impressive for a budget phone and if you don’t believe me you can look it up online

Had this for 2 years. Laggy at the start but ever since oneui 6 has been running smoothly and never missed a beat. The camera is fine, nothing special, but pretty good. Wish it had a telephoto instead of the useless macro. The screen is fine, a bit on the dark side, and when you are outdoors you can clearly see the fingerprint reader inside the screen when the sun shines on the screen. The durability is horrible. I dropped this from my pocket and the screen stopped working and shattered totally. I got it replaced for 49€ on Care+. The battery lasts me for over 3 days. I don't use my phone a lot except for remoting into my desktop which is fine. The phone is too big, even for my big hands, keep in mind this is because I came from an iPhone 8, but this is still not acceptable! My complaint is with the CPU. Switching between apps or trying to do split screen slows this phone down quite much, keep in mind this is the top model with 8GB of RAM! The screen has one downside: bad resolution. I have quite bad vision and when I hold the phone closer (around 15 cm from my face) you can spot the pixels very easily. Overall it's not worth it anymore. Get the a55 or a used a33, because its the same phone but cheaper and with just worse cameras.

Enjoyed my A53 for two years but a recent reinstallation and update to 6.0 means Google Store won't update and won't open without update. This is a common error usually solved by
Clear Cache/Clear Data > Switch phone off and on > Update App. Still doesn't work. Also tried the sign in and out solution.
Phones no fun without Goodlock... Need to upgrade... S24 Ultra should do the trick £1200... Yea.... I'm that thick! :)
Forgive my rant, i'm a little salty but i'm still going Pixel instead.

I mean- its alright. Actually no, it's good (for some parts). It has an excellent camera, the colors our super natural, and attention to detail is amazing. This phone aint cutting corners in photography. The only problem is performance. It lags, has slow downs after startup, and an overall slow charging speed. In my opinion, I would give it a 7/10. I miss my old OnePlus 7T and my Galaxy S8 tbh..
