My device is on Miui 14.0.6 and is not getting the hyperOs update despite the fact that someone I know get that update on their redmi note 12(secondary phone)

karim salah, 02 Jan 2024Any one using this phone gives us a full opinion yes,im using it for a while now,just installed hyperos indian version and what can i say,top flagship phone,suoer amazing cameras for day & night usage,playing cod mobile 120fps on multiplayer and the battery is on top,no heat or other issues,no lag,just go for it if u have the money

Anyone having battery drain with miui 14.0.6 global rom?
My battery only last half a day with normal Instagram, FB and 1-2 hrs Bluetooth music. I thought snapdragon gen 2 is more power efficient. My Xiaomi 12x last longer than this

Experiencing some bugs after update.
1. Sometimes lock screen goes completely blank and starts to work only after restart.
2. Back gesture on sides of the screen often stops to work totally and the only option is to use the on screen back button.
3. Sometimes lock unlock feels very slow as if phone is hanging.

I received MIUI update based on Android 14 this morning in India, I thought android 14 will be based on hyper OS. But no, its still MIUI :/
Update size is 5.3GB but android security pack is still till Oct only.
