I agreed with Raj,I've used it for a year now.so far no problem,juz the gps a little bit disappointed always 'lose satellite signal'.for wifi....actually with the data-plan i don't even need it.overall It's a very good budget yet performance phone.

now this day start the problem of my acer phone keep hangging up and always said sorry microsoft problem i need advise what have to do then only 2 months use now

Do not buy an Acer E100 - Worst phone I have ever bought and I have used a Win phone before. They are outdated and cannot be upgraded to Windows 7. They should no longer be on the market as they are a 2009 build. They take hours of time in setup and crash all the time. the touch screen may have been good in 2009 but it is very poor by todays standard. Buyer beware.

I have this mobile for 2 months. In brief this piece of junk does not deserve the money. Very bad battary life. Reliability is serious issue as it hangs very often even with very light and careful use. screen sensitivity sucks. If this one is dropped from only one foot hight and fall on soft rig, then it is the end

I bought only one month before. It's battery low always. It's touchscreen gets stuck. Camera of very bad quality. No zoom system. But the cost is too high for such a low rated mobile. I really regret to buy this. Please don't look for this mobile. Not even a glance it worths.

the battrey depletes very fast even if i only send 2 sms. and there were times when i charged the mobile and eventhough i dont use it, the battrey still depleted in a few hours

I just bought 2 days ago , but i can not be satufied till now as i couldnt surfying the interent through it , but I think the problem is with my line network that is very hard to setup the windows mobile , i will wait and I will see , can advice me about it more

You just required a knowledge to use a windows phone, this phone is great price wise, speed and usage wise and stylish too.

i expect many people who had negative experience with it haven't used it properly.
PROPER USAGE INCLUDES taking extreme care from itself accidentally falling down, accidentally falling in liquids, applying heavy pressure on the touchscreen nd the phone, overcharging, not using the right charger, unprotected from viruses..... and many more
nokia phones will be strong enough than acer for the above usage factors.
by SIMULTANEOUS USE of charging, data connections (edge, 3g, bluetooth etc), GPS, making calls, running background applications for a long time the phone battery gets heated up heavily which may damage the hardware (also battery drains much faster).
so, during simultaneous use of many features, always checkout the battery heating, and if necessary arrange a proper cooling system externally (be very carefull with the cooling system and phone)
AND the price for the given specs., is outstanding. the windows mobile phones are much valuable ones. these E101 and E100 models seem to be the cheapest windows mobiles presently (of a good brand). and i hope acer will release still cheaper wi mo phones reducing other features.
WINDOWS MOBILES are meant for bussiness purpose. they are not meant for multimedia purpose. hence we can explain the
2MP camera -- low cmos sensor
no 3.5mm audio output jack
common port for charger and earphones.
and a little drawback is absence of wifi (for a bussiness phone)
OUTSTANDING FEATURES OF THE PHONE ARE:
much cheapest windows phone
windows mobile os 6.5 (much recent os)
528MHz processor
256MB ram and 512MB rom
GPS
3G
touch screen and touch sensitive controls
one can buy this low end windows phone just for these outstanding features
and remember that one cannot expect much battery life from a Li-Ion 1140mAh battery. the battery should have been better, but it is a good one for the price u spent.

I have this phone from november 2009 ... I hate it ... Is the worst smartphone ever ... the touchscreen is freeze all the time and i must touch in the right of any icon ... if you forget to switch back in the portret mode after you have seen a picture you will remain in the lanscape mode ...
This is no smartphone , barrely you can call him phone ... to write a sms is the hardest part

The phone sucks from start to bottom.
It doesnt carries network.
The camera is horrible but the picture quality is bareable.
Battery life is very low.
In a nutshell the is NOT worth buying.
