sachin, 08 Sep 2011shud i buy this?yes, what are you waiting for. the dx900 has no rival. all the other double sim are only stnadby and not active. you can have at least 3 calls on that phone on both sims at one go, but speak to only one at a time. e.g. sim 1 has a call you pick that call, sim two has another call while speaking on sim 1 and its important, you put sim 1 on hold and answer sim2. while speaking on sim 2 another call comes in on sim sim1 and its on call waiting. making 3 calls at a go. no other phone can do this.
i strongly advice buy it .if you don't want it buy it for me i will buy off you.

eliyas ashagra, 25 Sep 2011i recently purshased acer dx900 how to change from firench ... moreyou need to change your OS. very simple to do it. let google search the WWW OS (English OS) in forum. there are many OS for this device WM 6.1 and WM 6.5.

Hai
I recently purchased Accer DX 900. In which now some options are displayed in English and some option in Arabic. Try to Reset,ColdBoot ,Hot Boot but still the problem persist . I want to make full English Display . Can any one help me out to solve the problem.

Hi,
I have had bad battery lifetimes with my acer dx900 as well as everybody else around here.
I fixed the problem by de-installing spb mobile shell 2 of the phone.
It worked fine then: 2-3 day without charging.
After a while I tried sbp mobile shell 3 (trial version). The DX900 worked better and faster with this version then with version 2. I even could not recognise a degresing battery life time with version 3. As far as I remember you can upgrade the "old" version of sbp mobile shell 2.x to 3.x for about 14$ isch on the sbp homepage - don't ask me for the link.
By the way, I don't get payed by sbp for this comment :-(

Even not the perfect dual sim phone, i've installed slide to shutdown that come handy to easy soft reset when dx900 ram going under 20mb, s2p as superb mp3 wav player , riay voice recorder as standard wav audio recording and pneu ebook reader, all for peace of mind
