Need help. How many contacts can u hold on f900? i have more than 1000 contacts from my old phone (ipaq) that i was trying to transfer using laptop synch but was restricted to 1000 even though i had more than 1000 in my laptop. But it allows me to enter more than 1000 contacts directly into the f900..anyone faced this issue?
what is the call history capacity ? my old ipaq used to hold infinity call history..on the f900 it seems to be limited

I had (E-ten) Glofiish X600, it was the worst phone I have ever seen. I had to reboot it several times a day and many formats per week!!! Recently Acer bought E-ten, hence I will never think to buy it, unless I am sure that they have new platform.

The F900 is as good a cell phone as I've ever seen and used. I've had mine for about 2 weeks and loving it.

It has 84 mb of ram in total. After boot up you are left with around 51 mb of ram (if you unload the acer shell and keep the standard today screen.

Did you try upgrading to the new 2.0 ROM? You can download this from www.acer.co.in - Support section.
Also try resetting the phone to default factory settings.

The internal speaker of my Acer F900 has stopped working within a month of purchase. Now the volume in headset too has decreased. Called Acer helpline in India but no help. Any suggestion how to remedy the situation. Thanks in advance. Regards, Ashis

I recomend unloading the Acer shell because it churns way too much ram. instead, use 'SPB mobile shell 3'.

Hello Friends,
I ahve been using this phone for 1 month for now. Great phone and good form factor. The only issue I have is that sometime I think the system slows down other processes. Do you think by unloading the Shell which comes with the set, can this be corrected. I have updated the firmware to 2.001.00.
Also I have noticed that the touch response is kind of slow. Is there a fix for this?

Just updated to the latest Rom (2.001.00).
I had the older rom and I had the same problem. I was having issues with getting the device out of sleep mode. (having to press the power button two or three times, sometimes delay in the screen coming on, and twice having to remove the battery). The Rom update seems to have sorted the issue with the black screen.

First day into using the device and something interesting about the bluetooth option is that you can set any transfered bluetooth file to be saved direct to your memory card instead of the phone memory!!!!! Which is good for the more larger files.
