i have used this phone and i feel its a really good phone as the speed of the phone is good ,attractive acer shell interface,and the main thing is that the multimedia features like camera(even though it is only 3.2)clarity is awesome,good music clarity and very good video playback quality compared to the touch hd...

4winmobile is a good forum for eten/acer support. Lite roms already available to free up the memory to be a solid phone
Spb Shell 3 is better than the Acer shell and more efficient.
Absolutely awesome phone. At the head of the pack until the F1 comes out. I just couldn't afford to wait. And the f900 has worldwide 3g. Something that many of the current phones are missing right now.

Do you know that on default with Acer IU, it left only above 20mb on the device for user to install their programs.

Unfortunatelly, no secondary (VGA) camera. And the firmware so far (1.002) does not support video calls.
The built in shell is good but consumes most resources.
I am dissapointed. (Good GPS reception though)

You know guys, i like this kind of phone. i didn't look to the brand or model of the phone. i look more to the specificaion of the phone before the brand/model of it. i think acer will be good.

Does anybody know:
1. How much ROM this phone has? I used to own an Eten X500 and X800...Both had problems due to less ROM (64Mb). I see that Eten doubled ROM on the newer models. Hopefully this one has at least 128Mb.
2. The Samsung processor is...owverclocked? They usually go to 500Mhz max...
From what I know, Eten has been purchased by Acer. Eten had horrible tech. support - reason why I stopped purchased phone from. This model is the first one issued after the purchase of Eten. Hopefully they will improve customer support.
