chandra, 23 Apr 2015Please do not waste your money on an Acer table After 3 mon... moreNo,no. It's a good tablet. I own one for the past one year. I didn't have any problem except: 1) speaker very weak, so sound very low, have to use external speaker 2) after updated to kitkat 4.4.2,can no longer write to SD card. So all the apps are installed to internal memory. Anyway, it's a common problem with kitkat. Luckily, with its 16gb internal memory, it's more than enough to store apps. Media files, I move to SD card with explorer. And it look like Ipad mini. 😀

Pls I got ma acer tab a week ago n when I insert my sim it's showing NO SIM CARD DETECTED. pls what should I do.

Please do not waste your money on an Acer table After 3 months the 3G SIM was rejected. I managed to fix this myself. Battery back up is very poor. Service is pathetic.Now the SD card is not being recognised. I will never buy an ACER produce ever again.

i have the 3G 16GB version of this model. after updating to Kitkat I experience some lagging and hangging a number of times until it crashed. Am using it just less than a year. Acer thru our service center here to fixed it by replacing the main board. When it returned to be I noticed the ROM decreased to 8GB from16GB. I told our service center here and informed Acer after which they told me Acer Phils. will buy back the unit and replace it with a new one. I guess the defect started after i updated it to Kitkat, some technicians said its the RAM issues, better not update it. How true is this.. (just sharing my experience with the A1 811) Thanks!

many thanks to Acer Hi, please I would really like to know how to update my tab to kitkat 4.4...im currently running on the factory 4.2.
...and for those that have updated their tab, is it worth it...?!?
