gjst, 09 May 2015I used Aptoide (downloaded from web) to download apps inst... moreDid it really? It has been over 10 days ago... I have the same problem, really annoys the crap out of me!! So if this is a solution, I am really interested. But only if it is a solution...

I used Aptoide (downloaded from web) to download apps instead of the play store. This resolves the storage issue.

Not happy with this phone at all.
Software not working properly, can't use and update any applications - message that not enough memory. - Bought additional memory card 16G - the same message- not enough memory. Called to Acer- advised to erase a phone. Erased a phone in 4 hours again - not enough memory. Just fed up. And not provider- not Acer not border to exchange for another phone.

Very good...but I noticed that when I am using it, the battery is very quick to drain and so hot.

sam, 23 Mar 2015very good phone , had since oct 2013 n no problem at allme too, my phone bought from january 2013, and havent serious problem until now :)

this phone have good performance, feature and design with affordable price
bad thing of this phone is about system storage (cant install many app) and slow front camera shutter speed

So...guality/prices,its the best choice.I had this phone November2013 and still workin perfect.I have a few app and games wich u need a big space.I filled RAM and ROM memory,and surprises,no stutters,the processor does its jobs.
If u need more space,go to the Apps,and select all the apps u need to move,push the button "Move to SD Card"(except the System Apps).DTS Sound its workin perfect ,just buy a pair of good headphones and download a good player with h/w+ decoder and you"ll see the difference :) .3g internet is pretty fast,considering that I can watch online movies.WI-FI and Gps reciver are not brilliant,but are stable.Image stabilization is pretty useless for a clear picture,do not move/shake the phone :).Video at 1080p 30 fps its ok,no freezing and have a good sound quality at 48000 Hz.However is an Acer,not aftermarket phone :).Il recommended.My next phone,I wanna try Acer Liquid E3 Duos :)

Only one thing..and the most important also..it has very little internal memory...

I had the exact same happen, bought it in march 2014 2 months on/of button failed to work. Sent for repair got it back. 1 month later same happened again sent for 2nd repair. Called customer service for an update they claimed there was water damage (its never went near any water in this period) yet they insisted the warranty is void and I'd have to pay for a repair. Worst company ever "ACER". They will say anything to get more money out of you. The phone itself has a repeating defect with the on/off button failing after minor usage. I felt ripped off. DO NOT BUY. They are a bunch of COWBOYS.

I bought my E2 dual sim last August, had some issues with the internal storage, can't have all the apps I'd like to, but it's a great phone, not too big either. It was in the water, after drying it out works perfectly. Well done Acer!

Rooted the phone, you do not need high technical skills to root it. Search the internet on how to do it. Use link2sd to move apps on the external sdcard. You will need a Linux partition on your card, apart from a regular fat32 one.

I have had this phone for about 6 months, and personally, it is not fit for purpose, it states that it has a 4gb internal memory, however this is partitioned into 2.35gb phone storage, and 1.65gb Internal Storage.
Of the 2.35gb, 1.7gb of this is taken up by system files, and when you have updated apps like facebook, google, you are left with hardly no storage to download additional apps or updates.
The 1.65GB storage is only for media only, and this applies if you put a sd card in, the sd card only stores media files (music, photos, etc.)
I have done research on this, and I do don't seem to be the only one with storage issues. The only fix I have found, seems to be rooting the phone, and I do not know if this safe, or have any consequences, and I am not Techy enough to do it.
Even with apps that move apps to SD Cards, it still does not help, as a portion of the App remains on the phone.

The unit is good i agree with that but all im asking is where is the headset of this phone?.where it stated there in the manual that i has a headset..even ur agent dont know where it is.. O please do explain how does it happened??
