I am pleased with everything about this phone except camera, it produces blurry unfocused = useless photos. It's a real shame as I am now forces to look for something better, dual sim and in the same price range.

After 5 months of research, this device is The Single One what I found so far that comprise the followings :
- stereo (with DTS which I don't really know what that means, but it sure nice to have it around especially when you want to replace your old Nokia 5800),
- dual-sim, even if it's dual-passive,
====(at 540 x 960 pixels, but if all the above are not enough)====
- 32 Gb memory card slot,
- 8 Mp camera with led flash and 1080p@30fps video recording,
- Quad-core 1,2 Ghz CPU
- 1 Gb RAM,
- GPS, gyro, compass,.... at an extremely low-price.
I remember i bought in May, 2005, an K750i Sony Ericsson which costs -back then- $100 more than this one is actually now so, in my oppinion, it is The Best mobile phone has seen The Light so far which happens to be.... cheap.

Futhermore, its depends on the quality of the headphone that you use

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2014Can you move apps like games to SdCard without root?Just update it to 4.2.2 jelly bean, then install appmanager pro III to your device, after that you can move your apps from internal card to external card

Acer phone are not popular phone not like other smart phone. I used this phone few month, then I compare to other phone acer is good quality smart phone net good not other phone hang up.... And also battery acer good

Acer liquid Smart phone is best phone forever, its so slim, 1ghz possessor, 1gb fasted ram, its work very first.

Rooting means gives you access to the root part of the smartphone, gives you administration authority, including ROM.
If you are serious about rooting, try friend or store that has experiences of doing this correctly.Remember : warranty is lost once it's rooting.
Secondary option : buy a smartphone that has bigger ROM capacity :D

Acer Liquid E2 is good reason that makes me fancy is dimension 4.5inch and the graphic, all the games tells the same as Samsung Galaxy or iPhone, but lack of light brightness in the display and better battery, I believe to compensate at Acer Liquid E3:
1.Dispalay.- 4.5 inch HD -- IGZO -- CGG3 (350ppi pixel density)
2.Memory.- 2 GB RAM
3.Camera.- 5-10 MP dual LED & 2 MP front
4.Chipset.- Mediatek MT6592

7.Battery.- 2400 mAh minimal

Mohan, 17 Jan 2014The phone I am using for two months. Phone with great featu... moreYou can set diffrent sms notification sound. Just copy the sound file you want to use in SD Card in Notifications folder and then eneter the sms applicaton, settings / notifications / select notification sound.

Rather bad shape design, but great performance for it's price. I've been using for 6 months without trouble. Battery consumption is good, it fully charged at morning then totally drained at midnight for normal use.
Quality of 8 MP camera seems like not as specified.

The phone I am using for two months. Phone with great features for this price.The processor speed is superb. So far I didn't see any big shortcomings. However an option to define different tone for Email, SMS and other alerts would be much better.

I like your idea john, but forget more pixel destinity (341 ppi density) minimal, and buyers will eagerly except to buy Acer Liquid E3
