Got d Metal today, very very nice indeed! Dont mean to offend others but it's just my own personal review, it is better than my previous Milestone and X10i in term of sound quality and also overall performances. Acer this time really did well. With such price, such specs, such quality and overall, it is a very worth phone. New UI = New experiences. Love the recent apps shortcuts and also the side-way sliding menu. cant feel any lag at all altho it is just 800mhz. only down side is the internal memory, only left around 103-105mb for user's apps installation. and also, camera is poor compare to Milestone and X10i(the best camera in android range) but well, good for emergency use anyhow :) hopefully my short review able to help as guide/references for those who're interested with Liquid Metal :)

the carefour is cheating the customer by showing the model in the add but when u reach their shop they r showing the e101 model ..bleddy cheaters..they r blaming that the picture will be as add only but not true...

I saw an offer here in KSA at Carrefour , Acer laptop and acer smartphone (as shown in figure,it is acer liq. metal for sure) only in 2389 SR. Can anyone please confirm is it the same phone as they showed in offer leaflet ...because the model is not mentioned in that...?

The best thing about acer phones is that it allows user to choose between their customised UI or RAW Android out of the box, without flashing the phone.
I like this policy, be free to choose what I want to use.
