Lol i'm from France i bought this phone in august 2015 and i had none of the problems ever mentionned below, it seens like phones bought in Europe have a better build quality or am i just having luck tho. The phone was indeed heating very much but never shut down i was just blowing a lot of air on it. Today it still works, only suffers wake lock triggers problems (the phone unlocks and locks very fast for no reasons some times) which i think is due to google play services. Reseting the phone solves the pb but when connecting once to wifi and updating stuff, it's over. So i use it as an "ipod".

first phone suffered major overheating while using data, poor battery life and the CPU couldn't operate past 83% RAM otherwise it would automatically restart, then while charging on a table for a half hour, the screen cracked horizontally from the middle on the left side (when looking at phone), to about 3/8" up from the middle on right side. Replaced on warranty at Costco... second phone, suffered same extreme overheating when using data, so hot the phone would auto shutdown (just like the first one), same terrible battery life, terrible screen viewing from all angles except from speaker/home pad end (same as the first one), charging ports never broke... but the screen did, again. in the same exact spot, while charging on the kitchen counter. dropped twice after that and screen completely shattered, no touch feedback at all. removed glass, no touch feedback. both phones suffered extremely laggy performance on even the most basic apps like hill climb racing or youtube, and the second phone would operate above 83% RAM usage but was unusably slow and i downloaded an external app to clear all processes in order to use google chrome or CSR Racing. terrible phone, my Huawei $100 phone had better performance and strength

I have owned this phone for 18 months and have had more problems with it than any other phone I've owned. It has had problems with short battery life and now the USB charging port appears to be broken and the phone can't charge. I am going to replace the phone but not with another Acer.

I own an Acer Z410 and it broke after a year. During the warranty, the phone stopped charging 4 times. Now that the warranty is voided, my touchscreen stopped responding to touch and it constantly restarts until the battery died. I got it for Christmas from my parents, and I knew immediately something was going to go wrong. Acer is known for good prices, but also known for low quality. This is also my first Acer product and like you said, going to be my last.

The phone is terrible! Old OS, extremely slow, and is prone to damage! The phone stopped charging 4 times and I had to call Acer to fix it for me. Now that my warranty is voided/expired, the phone's screen stopped detecting touch. Go spend a few hundred dollars more on a better phone. Complete waste of money. Like I always say, "Spend less expect less"

i bought my acer z410 last year april. but then last july 2016 it was just automatically off and it was not functional at all. i have been to different technicians but sadly they dont even know what was the damage. until now my phone was just junk.

HONEST OPINION:
Worst. Phone. Ever. When you first get it, the phone is going to be the best thing ever, I can't lie. The camera is awesome, apps run well, I can play the most hard core games no problem and the phone is very durable. But after a month or two, the battery one day suddenly wouldn't charge. I had to wait one day (idk why) before it worked again. This happened multiple times. The phone started overheating a lot from simple things like instagram, and facebook. Then the phone got laggy, sometimes the keyboard wouldn't show up and the app would just crash. You cant use any of the Snapchat filters without it crashing, the selefie camera sometimes is horrible but its okay at times. The phone also takes forever to start and open any apps. And a lot of the times the phone would restart FOR NO REASON. ALSO if you charge this phone (100%) and you decide to power it off completely until the next day, IT WILL LOSE BATTERY LIFE. This phone also doesn't get any andriod system updates so you're stuck with 4.4 forever. Nothing can express how much I hate this phone.

Cons:
- Laggy
- Crashes a lot
- Horrible battery
- Sometimes doesn't charge
- Overheats a lot
- Restarts for no reason
- Keyboard takes forever to show up
- Sometimes overheats from nothing
- Will lose battery life if TURN OFF COMPLETELY
- Can't use Snapchat filters without crashing
- Bad camera
- Gets no updates
