This is ... moreI've noticed that despite all the hype regarding this phone's laser auto focus and other technologies that are supposed to make focusing superb, the camera doesn't do a good job focusing. You'd need to tap on a subject in your frame to focus on it because simply clicking on the shutter doesn't automatically focus, causing images to be blurry, which is kinda strange for a phone that boasts superb focusing capabilities. And even if you do tap on a subject the focusing isn't fast at all even compared to cheap phones and doesn't always get it right. It's like boasting about having a V6 under the hood then finding out it's no better than a 4-cylinder because it's not well-designed and implemented.

I bought this phone and returned it after 2 days.
This is a great phone don't get me wrong but the rear camera is awful. You cannot take a proper picture during day time not to mention low light situations.
I was wondering if you guys had the same issue or that phone was defective.

I've been using this phone for over a month now and one of the things I really like about it is the DTS HD audio. MP3 files really sound noticeably better with a good pair of earphones. However, yesterday I found that there's a system update so I installed it. A few hours later I wanted to listen to some mp3 files but I noticed right away that the audio didn't sound so good. Upon checking in Settings I found that DTS HD is disabled so I enabled it. However, it no longer works. Toggling it on and off makes no difference whatsoever, and when you enable it and restart the phone, the DTS settings go back to disabled when you check it again. I think Acer somehow broke DTS audio. Even the loudspeaker seems to sound quieter as well. I wonder if Acer knows about this problem and has plans to fix it. I'm very disappointed.

zeus88, 26 Sep 2016how about the GPS, Lte connection was it ok and no problem?... moreI can assure you, the phone is superb. No problems so far in my 1st month of using it. Worth the money.

Can someone help me , I have this phone and I am having problem with call microphone, people keep saying I can't hear you etc. I changed sim card and same problem,i have done factory reset and again same please help me . Btw I love Acer and this phone

is this phone a joke or what, they said it will be available in july after some kind of delay, but still up until now i havent heard the phone has been released in any part of the world, i cant hardly wait and wanting for this one, every time and almost everyday i search in google all i come up with is the news of the phone will be released in july, even online stores still put up coming soon status or expected price, can someone clarify this...

I've now the z520 about more then 1 year and it still works fine so my next phone gonna be the Zest Plus. I love Acer
