      A REVIEW OF ACER M900
Throughout the wide variety of touchscreen phones, ACER continues the unending upgrade of their product features and processors. And we have now another new product to check about. ACER M900 offers a new edition of LCD display, like finger print recognition and widget-based user interface.

Generally, ACER M900 offers an attractive design with its black skin and sliding feature. Its keyboard is located under its 3.8 inches resistive touchscreen that can support 65K colors with its 480x800 pixels display. But as usual, the keyboard uses the full QWERTY system, which can be replaced by LCD’s handwriting recognition. What’s more, it can recognize the users fingerprint in unlocking the phone, and that’s cool! You can have your assurance that your phone is secure because you are the only one that can unlock your phone!

Moreover, it offers practically unlimited entries and field for phonebook and call records, which is quite responsive to the need of users for more space. It supports conventional SMS for texting, and also MMS, email, and instant messaging.

For data transfer, it has WLAN through wi-fi of the speed of 802.11 b/g; its GPRS is of class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots) that ranges from 32 to 48 kbps. It also supports 3G for video call that is better in keeping in touch with your love ones. It’s HSDPA speeds up to 7.7 Mbps and HSUPA of 2 Mbps. That’s fast!

The ACER M900 powerful 5 Megapixels has an Autofocus, LED Flash and resolution of 2592 x 1994, which can support 65K colors. You can directly edit the photo and save it in the phone or microSD (Transflash) memory. Or if you want, you can share and send it to your friends via MMS or upload it in the Internet. It also has its miniUSB port to immediately connect it to a computer. Although it has no infrared port, it can bond to other cellphones through BLUETOOTH®. It supports VGA video camera as well.

It has a speakerphone and a 3.5 mm Audio Jack which has a lot of available compatible headsets and earphones in the market. This will help us for the future need of replacements of headphones and earphones. Also, ACER M900 has a downloadable Polyphonic, MP3 and WAVE ring tones.

ACER M900 has a GPS of SIRF STAR III CHIPSET and JAVA of MIDP 2.0. It has also Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, oneNote, PDF Viewer) and voice memo and MPS Player. All that will support the need of the users.

At 119 mm tall by 62mm wide by 17.1mm in thickness, and weighing 188g, ACER M900 is too bulky and heavy, and is not advisable to carry on the pocket. We wish that ACER to produce more sleek and slim phone for comfortable usage.

Is too heavy!Acer will be a great competitor to HTC, Eten makes the Acer phones.

With 128 MB RAM ,no lens cover ,poor battery life inspite of 1500 mAh. Poor Built(two pieces wobles).Touch Screeen Not so responsive like htc pro2.Plastic covers front screen ,not hardened glass. Is it Worth for 700 US Dollars ? Think about it reply!

yeah right. but, with estimated value around $700 and, it has only 128RAM (not sure it's te final model), i think this gadget wont last that cool impresion 4 months after released date. there will be cheaper handset from samsung n lg with same features n quality.
