Adobe fixes flash player flaws found in Hacking Team leak

Himanshu, 15 July, 2015

Just over a week after hackers compromised Italy-based spy software company Hacking Team's systems, revealing a couple of critical zero-day Flash vulnerabilities, Adobe has released an update fixing the flaws.

Carrying version 18.0.0.209, the update is available for Flash Player plugin on Windows, Mac as well as Linux. You are advised to install the update right now as the vulnerabilities could potentially allow an attacker to take control of an unpatched system.

This comes just a day after Facebook's chief security officer Alex Stamos called for an end to Adobe Flash support.
