Just got one of these for free, I can say it is easily the slowest phone I have used in my entire life and that's coming from someone who has had to use a ZTE Zinger

This phone was awful in every way. It lagged constantly, especially when using Chrome. It would literally take a minute just for the keyboard to show up. Took 5 minutes for GPS to work in google maps. Screen was dim and looked terrible. Kept overheating. Its 2017 now and even back then it was terrible.

I have a problem with the phone: Sometimes it does not ring and does not vibrate. This happens randomly, for example once on every 20-25 calls. On the screen there is an indication that someone is calling, but no sound and vibration. The audio profile is the default "General". Do you know how to solve the problem? The device is in perfect condition and was never dropped. No other problems noticed.

I dont recommend it unless you have an sd card because the post factory updates take up a lot of space. The slow down seems temporary but still takes up too much extra space in my opinion. I thought the oem software was supposed to manage this aspect but it seems with phones nowadays the companies dont want to spend money on any kind of technical support post manufacture, so the newer ones just go with default google updates? This used to be no problem but since they want to make apps friendly for everyone nowadays to develop and use, this means the google frameworks need to occupy more space on the phone. If you know what you are doing or are not the average consumer I dont see the necessity with the newer google frameworks especially if you are trying not to bog the phone with stuff you dont use?

This phone is very durable and works well for very cheap phone. The only real downfall is no storage space for additional apps

If you're looking for a very basic smartphone, this device is it. It's a good one to introduce new users to the world of smartphones, and is pretty easy to use.
Don't purchase if you're looking to use this frequently/heavily. The phone gets slow/crashes apps frequently and has very little storage space without an SD card. It's small and light, but the battery life is not great. The rear camera is okay, while the front camera is just bad. Don't expect too much from the phone, it's barely a smartphone in itself.
For its price, it's not a terrible phone, but it needs a lot of improvement.

This phone suckes! Won't let me use any big apps without going home and losing all of my work. If you want a phone, pay the extra money and get a better one. Also the keyboard freezes up and doesn't come back for a long time. I hate this crappy phone!

This phone is a piece of crap. The screen goes black especially when you are reaching someones voice mail and you cannot end the call. Furthermore, I have had this phone for 2 mnths and now I have no sound whatsoever --took the battery out turned sound off and on, cleaned the speakers with compressed air, turned the power off--still NO SOUND WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS STUPID PHONE??????????????????????????????????????????????????

this phone is really bad. I got it for Christmas in 2014, I think? the biggest problems are that the keyboard will disappear while typing and then it takes a long time to come back. also, it freezes a lot so i have to take the battery out of the phone when it locks up. i can't even use chrome because it's very slow. the storage is very terrible and the battery life is no good. i had to delete facebook and use it through my browser. the battery life is so bad, i have to charge it a lot. when it hits like in the 20's, it'll rapidly go down to 15%. i dropped my phone one day at 39% and when i put the battery back in, it was down to 14%.sometimes the time skips on my phone. i don't recommend this crappy phone. get yourself an iPhone or whatever. i know i will get a better Android phone when i finally have a job and have the money to afford it. don't be fooled by the cheap price.

This phone lags on the ffing menu screen wtf? It sux. Whoever says this is a good phone obviously made the phone. The developers dont use this piece of sht.

this was my first phone and i loved it so much.i paid 50$ for it and i thot that was not a bad deal and it was not. i still like it and i am going to keep it.The only problem i had had was it would freeze some times but that never made me upset.It would run slow but i did not really care.sometimes i hated it when it did that.the camera never bothered me.THE ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT IT IS it has been threw so much and it never broke.i have dropped it,spilled water on it,threw it at a wall,dropped it in water and it still works!i think i have just gotten lucky it has not broke.overall i think it is a ok phone

I got this as my first phone, it sucked horribly, it never worked properly, every time i go to use it, it shut off. The camera quality is really bad too. It never had enough space and that sucked as well. I had that phone for 2 or 3 years i don't know how i put up with it so long. That phone sucked! I am very happy now because i have gotten a much better quality phone (HTC Desire 626) and when I got it I couldn't wait to smash the alcatel.

This phone has got to be the Worst phone i have ever purchased in 15 years.. For a smartphone its extremely dumb!! If it wasnt for me needing to be reached for work, id through it in the EAStRiver.. Horrible!! Just Horrible!! Do Not purchase this phone for ya dog!!
