This Alcatel handset is very basic . It being basic has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are the non colour screen does not drain much of the battery quickly. This phone easily lasted 10 days between charges. The disadvantages are that it looks very old fashioned and it has hardly any features included. I have accidently knocked this phone off a 2 foot table once and nothing happened although it was only on carpet. The cheap feeling plastic back doesn't make me thing it will survive many falls onto any surface harder than carpet.

Bought my first mobile phone in Dec 1996, OMG 16 years ago, it was the HC 800. A brilliant phone for its time, heavy duty and the screen was amazing with icons for different functions, was better than the Nokia phones of those days. Back then it was the Nokia Banana and the Alcatel beat it in every way hands down....except maybe the sleek trendy category which made everyone go for the banana

This phone is so Jurassic Park, but I also use this as a vibrator for my werut... I love it!

Alcatel HC 800 is a awesome phone i use it alomost 4 years and i dont have any problem with this phone until now i still use it and the only thing that will be broken is the case.
