i have the same problem with my phone switch off and did when turn on is only black screen i performed a hard reset from here

use combination key and wipe out your all data your phone will be fixed.

My alcatel idol 2s has stopped working suddenly. First I had problems with the phone it was restarting itself and my servise center told me that is the software. But now my phone is not working at all. I don't know what to do next. If anyone had the same problem please tell me what to do.

Kosmos, 11 Feb 2015Can any body tell me how to upgrade to 4.4 kitkat?? Only if you have the 6050A version is possible to climb to KitKat (4.4.2). In the XDA forums you can find the right build.prop for that. In my case I have the 6050F and I'm still waiting.

Anyone have the 6050F model and already have the version 4.4.2, which is the highest Kitkat that Alcatel have available for this model?
