jlester, 30 Sep 2015I got this phone almost 2 years and i really really satisfi... moreJust open the phone housing using your thumb nail or a sharp driver. before that there is a secret screw under one one of the sim covers. loose it first.
remove the taping on the upper part of the battery. loose the screws there and pull out the plug.

I really need a battery , I have not used my phone for two months due to the lack of a Battery. where can I find one please help.

Really good looking phone, the design is brilliant.
But if you're looking for a phone to use for a long period of time, skip this one... After a year it starts to lag incredibly. Battery is slowly dying out, camera is 5/10, the amount of bugs I had on this phone is astonishing. And I did took care of it throughout the period of usage.

My Alcatel Onetouch Idol Mini is envied by my colleagues at the work place due to its slick nature but my challenge is how it has become slow of late. Also the power button is beginning to jerk me off....The power button is not responding at all. Please who can help me out.

Anilene, 21 Dec 2014My Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini stopped working. After switc... moreTry doing this.
Press and hold the up volume key and the power/lock key until it lights up the screen.
Wait until the phone shows factory data reset.
Use the down volume key to go to wipe data reset and press power/lock key to select.
Use the down volume key again to go to yes delete all user data and power/lock key to select it.
It will show wiping data....resetting data.....
Once the reboot system now is highlighted press the power/lock to reboot the phone.
That's the HARD RESET.!!!!!

Actually alcatel one touch idol mini doesnt have an SD card. It's built in.
