AnonD-185390, 12 Sep 2013I just received my One Touch Idol X yesterday from a Malays... morealmost every new phones must use mini-sims nowadays so Alcatel is no exception. Just go to your nearest phone dealer and get your sims "chopped".
Please refer to the App "Alcatel Help" in your phone for instructions on how to screenshot. Ain't telling you here otherwise everybody would not want to do their own homework and expected to be spoon-fed with answers...

I just received my One Touch Idol X yesterday from a Malaysian online shopping portal.
1. The unit that I received comes with 2 SIM slots, but the slots are for micro SIMS only?? Do I need to go back to the Telco service provider and get my SIM card to be exchanged to micro SIM?
2. Anyone knows how to do a screenshot (print screen) from the One Touch Idol X? My old Android phone has an option to activate screenshot from the Menu>Settings>Display (by holding the Menu button), but the Idol X shows multitasking screen when holding the Menu button...

In relation to the dual sim version of Idol X. Do both sim card slots take 3g sim cards? Or just one slot for 3g, while the other only for 2g sim?

some of you got dual sim version, some ddnt have sd card slot, it is because there are many version of idol x, its like samsung s4, in the US they release octacore version, but in the philippines temhey release only quadcore,

But I did played with it often.we do have to be realistic bcoz this phone is slim and thus alcatel cannot fit in bigger Battery. If Battery life is a problem then get a power bank. No big deal..
