Which would you prefer, the Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD or the Samsung Galaxy Win? Both have quad core processors, and dual sim at closely comparable prices. Thank you very much in advance for any inputs.

Just got the phone today, and I must say I am very impressed with the performance this smartphone delivers for the price. NOTHING lags ;) and Jellybean 4.2 rocks!

Sorry! is OTG cable, not GTO...
Scribe HD do come with a Flip cover,
but the phone doesn't have Smart Cover feature.
and the plastic back cover easily get scratched.

Can use 32GB Sandisk Ultra SDHC/C10/U1
GTO cable not ok!! need root access!

Yes, you can move apps to SD card and also set the phone to have internal storage or micro SD card as the default storage for the phone. Quite handy considering the paltry 4GB (2.something) user available.

Just out of curiosity i had the phone check for an update and it actually found one. A small (40 or so MB) update that took quite a while to download but eventually installed smoothly. Stated update was for improved performance but don't notice anything as it was fin anyway. Anyone else try the update and notice anything?

Phone is available for sale in Malaysia. I was playing with one at the phone shop just yesterday. Sells for around USD 330. Looks to be a solid performer, impressed.

Referring to the information on unit release, it has mentioned of not yet available on market but Cambodia phone shop is selling it which is imported from Malaysia. I would kindly request Alcatel to clarify about this.
