Alcatel Onetouch Fire C with Firefox OS launches in India

Alcatel launched the entry-level Onetouch Fire C smartphone in India. The Firefox OS handset will be exclusively available in the vast market through the online retailer Flipkart.

The Onetouch Fire C will be priced at the highly affordable Rs. 1,990 (about $32). Alcatel’s offering is already listed on Flipkart as coming soon. Overly anxious users can sign up for email updates.

Alcatel Onetouch Fire C offers specs that are in line with its price tag. Key features include 1 GHz Spreadtrum 6821 CPU, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of expandable memory, 3.5” HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) display, and 1.3MP camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM functionality, Bluetooth 2.1, and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
