This is the only instruction on the whole of the web, where one can actually read the method of accessing incoming text messages on this phone. Thanks to in-putter and perhaps a lesson for the Quick Start Guide author.

i had the Alcatel OT-255 and the only reasons that i bought this one its: 1st) SMS threaded view 2nd) SD memory card 3rd) 3.5mm jack headphones, basically all the other features its the same with my old one.
I think for 20 pounds its the best you can get

Has pretty good battery life and fast and easy to text with. I got it half price, wouldn't pay the full price has very little memory to save anything extra on it.

Great speech quality and reception, sounds like an expensive smartphone. Screen also is bigger and sharper than the previous 355 with wider angle to view, camera is vga 640x480 true to life colours and sharp. Plenty of option to customize buttons as shortcuts for various function. Like the sensitive and powerful radio and mp3 player that sound great with a better headphone.
Internet is basic without java but there is nothing better for its price.
Is the maximal memory card capacity of 4gb correct?
