good phone except that the housing is very very brittle! my power button just fell off! it seems the plastic is too thin.

I own an 701 for 4 moths now.PROs:Huge features,holds almost 100 sms messages!:O Huge phonebook!Battery lasts for 3 days with all the features(vibrations,full light,more than 20 sms sent and recieved per day and 20minutes talking)!!Excellent!CONs:Very unrelaible in hand-has all kinds of noises,thin plastic,poor assembly,joystick not working properlly all the time,especially when u move it backwards-left;WAP SUCKS on this model-also the predictive sms function.Finds all kind of words but u ALWAYS have to search for the right one:(Too bad.I'd give it 8 on a scale from 1-10.

Its an excellent phone with lots of features, it could be even better if you could compose melodies, had some games, add logos and stuff. But anyway, it doesn't matter, its not a Game Boy, its a mobile phone, and a VERY GOOD one i must admit!

Cool design, nice features and navigation... But it's really crap for stability !!!
Many pb with the battery and/or software, I try 3 of them, they crash everytime !

Sorry, but the height of this phone is just 103 mm!!! It's a very big difference: 122 or 103 mm!! Please correct this mistake! And the 50x series are also just 103 mm!!!

It doesn't have an IR port! It's so depressing - I was hoping a new Alcatel phone to work with my Psion palmtop WITHOUT cables! :-((
