Greetings,I own an alcatel model 715.It has never given me any problem at all until recently,when accidently it fell in the water.am unable to find the software here in kenya.can you be able to assist me the manufactures software since the phone is functional but a few keys are hanging and the techinical problem seems to be with the software.your reply will be highly appreciated.yours faithfully james.

i already have Alcatel one touch 715,but couple days age i brooked up this mobile phone ant the technikian says,i need to change my display! Could you tell me,where can find display in my country(lithuania) or what price it have at this moment,and where exactly i can by this mobile phone! i dont want others,i like alcatel 715 so much,i would be glad if you can help me some how

Really, I would like to congratulate you about your great model (one touch 715). Because it is very nice, easy and genius model. But I need to ask about the number of signal strength indicator. My phone had a four sign only not more and in many time reduce to little. Please accept my thanks, gratitude and I’m looking forward to know more about your suggestion.

Maybe the best monochrome ever... huge quality and reliability... i just changed it for the OT735 and it's even better !!!
And for Robbie : with the 735 you know if it will send 1 2 or 3 SMS when you type, not when you send it !

I have a 715! It is a very nice phone! It has a very easy menu...and is very good!

Alcatel has done some good phones since the beginnig of mobile phones. With the OT715, you've got mobile phone that looks very nice, which is userfriendly and with such a big screen. A colour screen would have been better but at the time Alcatel launched it, it wasn't so "necessary". If you'd like to get the manual, accessories, etc, don't forget to go on alcatel's website.

in my phone (polish language) i never know how much characters i wrote, there is no such info. it only asks about sending two or three messages to smbody.
also there was no manual to this phone.
but overall really good.

I just bought the Alcatel 715, it looks pretty okay except that the keys are so hard and need one to press with force especially when writing a sms. It's not as smooth and easy as 511 or 701. The screen colour can not also be as blue as the commercial picture used to advertise it. But all in all it looks cool.

I love the 715. The quality is absolutely brilliant, I love the design. Yes, I would prefer a coloured screen, but the 4 grey shades are very clear. The screen is one of the biggest I have seen with a zoom function that enables you to see your sms texts in two different sizes. A landscape function enables you to view your calendar and the games in a horizontal way opposed to the upright normal view.
Software: the only phone I know with a total address book, where you can even add personal notes on each person. I love the tiny and simple feature of an active phone list, where, when you enter the list, you are automatically at the last person's phone number that you had called earlier. On other phones you start with the first name on your list and have to scroll down.
Talk quality is absolutely clear, much better than on my Sony Ericsson T68i. Reception is also very good.
Big disadvantage: Yes, you can download ringtones, but it is extremely difficult to find them in the UK, as no network here has ever offered it. Smileys added in your texting are not compatible with other phones and don't even appear there at all.
I am really annoyed with Orange and Co, that they are not providing a complete good choice of all phones at all.

I have been with the phone for a month now.The second one i mean, the first i got had a vibration problem but thanks to the warranty, i got another. This one, the display goes off sometimes but the problem isnt consistent. Generally, its a cool phone and am just praying it doesnt develop a serious problem.
