well i have this alcatel and theres some stuff wrong with it.
firstly the backlight doesent work and there are purple sloches in the middle of the screen.
secondly the infrared doesent work, it just says connection failed all the time.
thirdly the stamps dont wor, i have them in my folder but when i go to use them they dont appear when i want to use them whitch really annoys me. you no the feeling aye?
i dropped it on the rocks which gave it two big skratches, NOT GOOD! NOT IMPRESSED ALCATEL!!! im outty Focker out...

I bought this phone in about a week now and i cant receive any data through the infra red port.The message is always,"transfer failed".I want to know whats wrong.

how are the pictures taken with alcatel 735??? the quality is good or bad??? pls help me! i have this phone and i want to buy a data cable or o IRDA port for him. [sorry for my "english"].

Hi.. Im from Malaysia...
I bought this phone recently... after a week.. i donno why.. it blank.. try to on.. but nothing.. a light came out a few second.. then off again.. i try send it to handphone service/repair shop but they say cannot fix it.. what should i do then??? please help me..

hi
i have had dis phone for 1 yr today it is a gud phone but it does have a few probs
1.the writing on some of the buttons is starting to dispear already and i dont use it alot.
2.the screen scratched very easily i got 2 deep scratches on it i dont even know how they got there
3.it seems really boring to me nothing to discover or anything
4.camera is not very good but easy if you wanna let younger kids have a play
other wise it has been good very loud ringing for me and decent sized memory
i do have to add that i am getting a new fone sometime soon hopefully a bit more interesting

I have this phone now a year and a bit, still sturdy, battery still lasts fine etc.
But i want to use the IR, and am looking for info especially about transferring my telephone numbers to my computer, if any body can help id be very gatefull, sound.

i just lost my alcatel 735 and i believe that it is too old now and out of the market. you r beter to buy the new alcatel 757($340 new zealand) . the old one sucks!!!

Hi guys .. i have bought a new Alcatel 735 OT but i havent got its Data Cable .. I m tryign to u se the Infrared Port but it doenst get detected by MA-620 model of IR device .. so i need help .. kindly tell me which IR Device is compatible and wat is its data cables's model .. thnx .. I m living in Pakistan

this are nice phone I've used Alcatel since 1997 I have problem for sure.
please I am intrested in buying a new phone like of one touch between 700-835 models can you please avail the price list NOTE I am in E. Africa, Uganda is my country in Kampala city.

it is a great phone as I have had one for over a year and going strong. may even consider the next model up as alcatel have great solid products.

I have bought this phone 6 month ago and the screen is starting to malfunction at times , mostly when I use it more than 10 min or so , polifonics not so good , it`s kind of big , but was one of the best price/quality phone on the market at that time , camera takes good pictures only when there is a lot of light . overall , a good phone , but to keep for 1 year not more .

I don't like this cell phone!It's ugly!:-( Alcatel can not make good telephones!The best telephones are:Panasonic;Samsung;Sonny Ericsoon.I hate Alcatel's!!!!!:-(

I was using built-in-handsfree on my OT501 and OT701. It allowed me to communicate quite well even while driving the car. I guess OT735 would do that nicely to.

yes it has a handfree built in but it need a quiet enviroment to hear and talk clearly
