MAKEDON, 22 Nov 2011HI, are you satisfied with the phone?My phone starts on charger only. And when its finished loading, it just freezes and says:

I want to reset my alactel 807 but when i press long # and off key my phone just on again and don't want to reset, do any one know how is other way to reset my alcatel 807? thank you :)

lzy, 10 Feb 2012sadly you cant play music while surfing since the default b... moreYou should have mentioned that the "DEFAULT" browser is Obigo browser and it's an embedded browser in the phone's OS and is known as "Wap".
So you can definitely browse the internet through "Wap" and still listen to "Music Player" :D
P.S I tried the settings for youtube streaming and still didn't work -Failed to buffer- and no the signal strength is very high "FULL 3 bars" beside the connection is fast!

that is the link - select all certificates.. göodluck.. + karma if this helps after installing this follow the procedure i posted in order to stream videos in youtube.. BTW I AM using the phone to reply to you.. i just found out that it could copy paste websites address. that is why i was able to paste the entire web site address there.... haha..

So plz send me link for this opera coz I tried to install it but it gives the message "unauthorized version" at the end of the installation.
Then tell me if there's any other setting to adjust to play youtube ??!!

ian, 21 Feb 2012thanks izy :) its still doesnt work .. im so pissed .. my p... morefailed to buffer means that it is working but your signal strength is weak.. in order for it to work properly it needs about two bars of signal.. or there are töo many users of the wifi.. if the set up didnt work the warning should either read connection closed or likeunknown udp

go to settings>connectivity> streaming> add profile (create a profile name it anyway you like)> set the lowest udp port to 20000, then the highest udp port to 30000>save>select or activate profile in streaming menu>done. Hope this helps..
BTW THEYVE RELEASED SILICON CASES FOR THIS PHONE.. HOPE THEY HAVE IT ALREADY HERE IN THE PHIL. ^_^V peace out!..

what im trying to tell you guys is that this phones speed matches those of an androids and so does its functionalities..
But of course having no processor or high end memory it has its limitations..
Common with its price what would you expect right?
Heres the catch in buying this phone.. Its very far from perfect.. Its functionality has limits.. But it performs well enough to compete with most of those android phones and its very cheap..
So choose get an android phone which has good looks, a basic array of functionality and a fairly high price for its kind or get a phone which has a good array of functionality, not perfect but with a very cheap price..
Remember guys, in the end its up to you to choose where to spend those hard earned cash of yours..
But if your rich it wouldnt matter right? haha.. Well good luck..

BTW this is a non android phone so ofcourse there are limits to its functionality..
