this phone is nice...
-Can do copy paste on the documents (long press on the screen)
-Can multi-task with ease
-design is nice
-Good battery and wifi ( last 2 days with heavy use)
-uploads of doc, file, and picture are very easy
-good sound
-good ram for multi-tasking 60mb
-Processor is very good 600mhz :)
Downside:
-no accessories like rubber protector
-camera quality (fair)
-no support on software update

1. how to... morei think the OS cannot be upgraded...
and about the multi-tasking, yes it can, the maximum memory for multi tasking is 60MB
example: text, use notes, music back ground, surf the net on wifi... cool phone :)

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to disconnect the service providers internet? As it is costing me money even if i have wi-fi turned off. I dont know which android platform it is, I think it is 2.1. Thanks

slink, 30 May 2011could someone please tell me if you can buy this phone unlo... moresure thing, today I got this phone from carphone warehouse and not locked at all. only had to get PAYG for orange sim at a tenner, but otherwise now runs '3 network' with no problems and no setup difficulty. I am happy.

yes, you can read pdf with pdfviewer or with any other app from market, and it can read MS files too with documents to go, or with other apps from market.

[deleted post]Yes, tat's exactly what i done to my phone. Another benefit after link the apps to the sd card is that if the phone crash again, we just need to take out the sd card and the phone will be just fine.

Many thx dude, I had rooted my device but root process had given me some heart attacks (crashed twice :D ). Had downloaded the cpu thingy but now i need to partition my sdcard. Which software did you use to do that? Thanks!

That does mean tha... moreYes u gotta root it, don't worry, rooting is safe as long as you don't mess up with the file system, and i did it using "superoneclick". By the way, there's so much benefit after rooting the device. For example, i can install setcpu to configure different cpu policies just like power management in various os. I even remove some of the apps from the rom to free up some internal storage.

Being using this phone for almost 3 months. Here's what I think of the phone:
What's good:
1) Very Cheap
2) Good rubbery keyboard
3) all the features you really need like GPS, 3g etc
4) Decent speed from a 600mhz Qualcomm processor.
5) Decent build quality, except for (i'll put it under "what's not so good")
What's not so good:
Limited built-in memory
Resistive screen
Poor camera
Thin creaky back plastic cover. It starts to creak a bit after a while

very good phone..only drawback is the resistive touchscreen.. but honestly it's very responsive and who would want to use capacitive touchscreen on a small display.. imagine surfing the net with the screen size with no stylus.. and oh camera is just decent. if you just want to take some decent photos then this will be fine.. surfing speed is fast and gps no problem:D
