Bought this to play with the platform and have been pleasantly surprised,3 months of daily use and no major groans,runs everything sweet and syncs with google accounts and plays nicely with all media..after installing a few codecs.. :).I don't rate the Alcatel windows software,,but then I'm probably biased and much prefer to just mount the sd on any linux distro which it does without any bother..
Anyone having battery life problems needs to install a task killer from the market as with any smart phone, apps left running in the background really feast on power

Had the phone for about a week now and have to say only complaint i have is doesnt seem to pass audio through dbl ended head phone jack like to car stereo etc..

to hard reset press and hold 'r' while turning on you will lose all data.
*#837# in dialer tells info about phone
in 10 days of light use
unresponsive touchscreen
wifi isnt strong
voice input wont work (eg sms texting)
awful battery
as far as i see its android 1.6 with a live wallpaper doubt there will be a 2.2 release
overall liked the phone but quality was awful

i have had this phone for 4 weeks and it has developed a few problems. Firstly it keeps telling me the battery is low when its not, it has started switching itself off and then it will not come back on! Anybody any suggestions as to what the problem is? Tracy.

Does nayone know if the red version is available in the uk. Carphone warehouse only do the black one, and none of those slighty dodgy looking website don't have it either. Any help?

tracy, 17 Nov 2010hi can anyone please tell me does the phone have to be swi... morecheck first if the default format for the time is in 24hrs or 12hrs. most likely if u set ur alarm for morning and the time format for ur phone is in 24hrs.. ur alarm will really be in the afternoon.

I purchased one of these things (in Australia, very hard to get here) and it's got a stuck button of some sort - the "hang-up" button seems to be permanently depressed, I have to actually hold that button down to do anything and there's ZERO support here for these phones I'm finding out. Anyone else seen this problem or have any suggestions on how to fix? I think it's not a physical switch thing as it does the reverse of this when I push and hold that button.

can anyone please tell me does the phone have to be switched on for the alarm clock to work? I set it for 7 am but it never works but my afternoon alarm always works? very confused! tracy

@Desi or anyone else who knows - How to remove the bundled apps? They don't appear in the Manage Applications area.
Would like to remove those game demos for a start.

Just confirm this phone is £79.95 if ordered online on T-Mobile from Car Phone Warehouse (plus £10 Credit). Great phone and my battery is still at 70% charge 2 days after receiving it. Screen is responsive for a resistive.
Need to get the PC Suite from their website to connect to a PC, no cd included in the box.
