Took to service center but not solved by OS reset. Now they want to change the mother board.it restarts say 10 times in 24hrs even if left idle. RELIANCE - RECONNECT - RESTARTS ...:)

AnonD-62793, 13 Jul 2012Hi friends i have problem with my phone my cousnt have too,... moreWi-fi connection says connecting then disconnects. I solved it by the following ways.
1. Go to settings>W & n>Wi-fi settings> Go to advanced settings buy pressing function button on handset & goto advanced settings.Check use static IP.
2. Give IP address & fill all the details as per your router settings.
3. Turn on wi-fi & click connect (put password).
4. If it still doesn't connect the go to router settings thru your Internet explorer (by typing //192.168.1.1/, Admin..admin..) add the mobiles MAC address (u can see it in page where u did the IP settings). Connect again.
5. Wi-fi works fine now

StefMacedonia, 26 Jul 2012I have the same problems i think the problem is in tutter w... moreyou dont have to buy new router right away. you can go to the store, for example amc, and try it there and if it works than buy it, or in some caffe or some place where they have free wireless so you can try if it works on their wi-fi. about the router settings i know hoe to get there but i dont understand how to configure it, maybe there is some option that has to be turned on or off, but i dont know that. hope you will fix this problem

Hi guys i have found another great app to speed up your phone. Its called Speed Boost System Cleaner. You can
actually increase your CPU speed! My Alcatel is like running like at warp speed, touch screen is more responsive now. Forget RAM booster apps that dont really work this app is the real deal.
