I just love the phone, bought it last november 2012, not having problems, camera wise, can shoot still pictures and focus on my subject then shot it..very good quality.

Very good phone for it's price, never had any problems till about now, i have this stupid thing, my phone sometimes reset itself, so everything is lost. I fixed it temporeraly with making a backup that i can restore (titanium backup), but this should be fixed.....

AnonD-111372, 10 Feb 2013hi! im from malaysia and bought this phone 5 days ago. it ... moreHi Miz, Im from malaysia as well.. been using the phone even before they officially launched it in Malaysia.. i never encountered the problems that u have. the only problem i have with the phone is that it will switch the keyboard from normal android to touchplus.. camera is nothing to shout abt as u have to be completely still whenever u want to take a picture (maybe i have not been able to figure out the settings yet heheh) anyways, i was using the galaxy tab before this and i would say ive never regretted switching from samsung to alcatel. for the price in Malaysia id give it 5 thumbs up. as for battery life, it can last one whole day (if u dont play too much games. This based on my usage such as emails, whatsapp, facebook etc.)

Last time i have issue with other phone from different brands too. the solution sometime is to enter the APN settig manually but i have yet to try it with the Alcatel because i have wifi at home.
perhaps it is a bugs between telco, alcatel's ICS and google play.

for 2 weeks i will have bought 997d.it is a powerful smartphone and it's price is too low for it because it has 8mpxl camera,android 4.0,screen 4.3 and it is fast on the internet
