The phone is nice on the hand. I dont have any problem typing on it. As for the battery, its totally fine. It lasts easily more than a day with normal use.

Hi guys,
Is the phone nice to grab and how is the typing experience in horizontal position?
I got Alcatel 992D and I was not able to type on it correctly with both hands - I had to return it.

JuneIceAhhh, 15 May 2013is it really water proofs cellphone??? ;-)The phone is not waterproof in the way that you can go in the sea with it. BUT it is waterproof in the way that you can put itt under the faucet with running water and the phone will be fine. There is a video of it on youtube and I have also tried it myself.

i recently bought this phone frm phone express in kisumu-kenya.My problem is that it keeps switching off at random,almost 3-4 times a day and its impossible to switch it on by the power button;i have to remove n return the battery then now the power button gets activated.Can sobdy advice since am thinking of returning it back to the shop to get a different brand!!!its annoying when a phone just switches off on its own all the time.

before buying the smartphone check for the availability of covers (flip or pouch) it is not available in u.a.e. i bought alcatel onetouch D997 and i could not use without cover.

s the camera okay? I really like taking pictures. Is the front camera fine for self portraits? Does it become laggy at all times or sometimes? Is its battery life good? Because I'm a heavy user . [deleted post]Use the tethering option it works perfectly well and no drivers are required. I'm assuming your laptop has a wifi capability though if it doesn't then you do need to download the USB/Bluetooth drivers..
