hi everyone...i have a question:I bought yesterday this phone and they don't gave me the install CD for usb cable,but they say that no cell phone has usb CD and i can't find the drivers:((

Ok people... I got a very special question to you all. As you know Alcatel cares a lot about user feedback... and you have provided that plenty to them... and please keep doing that!
Now however I have something else for you, the future. I mean... what would you like to see in the future from our beloved Alcatel brand. I am asking you people to send me your suggestions for Alcatel and I will forward them directly to the Alcatel product development and design team. You can send me all sorts of suggestions. If you have great ideas for design... show me... if you have certain wishes for technical specifications please let me know... is there a feature you would like to see in the future, email it to me and maybe there will be a new model soon which will have it. You shall have to be realistic in your proposals though... asking for a 10 megapixel camera with 1080P HD recording for instance will not be considered serious and disregarded. Also... if you have a bright new idea which could be nice to add to a phone email it to me and it might end up being used one day.

yes the phone does have video recording and yes the phone is really nice... I would get it if you would like a cheap clamshell with bluetooth and mp3 player.

i bought this phone several months ago and during the second month i used the phone, there is a problem occured. whenever i made a call, or somebody call me...and when i'm finished with the talking, the phone can't exit back to the main menu. it will stuck until i off the phone and on it again.it's so annoying.can anyone please help me to fix the problem?

I have been pleased with my C701, except about two weeks ago (just as I left for vacation) the lower right corner of my display developed a black blotch that extends about 16 mm along the bottom and right side of the screen, and about 3-4 mm into the display, with rounded edges. Most of the pixels are just black, but a few sprinkled throughout the blotch have constant but random colors.
Although I am usually very careful with my things, the phone slipped off my belt and may have landed (in leather case) on that corner of the case. This occurred the day before the blotch appeared.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is it damage to the display from the fall, or wildly coincidental moisture, software glitch, ...? Is it fixable (for less than the cost of another phone)?
Tomorrow will be the first chance I'll be able to get back to the store to ask about it, looking for perspective.

nina, 25 Jul 2008where can I find the software?please explain to me how to f... morea simple way to download songs in mp3 format is to use a card reader...plug the card reader using usb to your pc and insert the memory to the card reader...
but to determine which folder to use/ or compile your mp3 is to transfer mp3 from another phone using bluetooth...make sure that the mp3 is stored to your phone memory... then transfer that mp3 to your memory card...the phone will automatically make a folder on that particular mp3... then using the card reader, drag and drop mp3 to that folder...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I have this phone. I don't think there is actually a password. It is quite loud, and bluetooth is easy to do. I would probably say this was the best phone I have used. I have never had your problems, but the normal answer is 1234 or your phone number.
