it's friendly and simple but the speaker not loud enough and you cant hear it ringing when you are in a crowd.I'm using it almost 2 yrs and now couldnt get a battery for replacement.I'm out of battery now.

I got this phone almost 8 months ago. No problems or anything bad about it. If you want just a phone with no other fuzz get this phone if you want value for your money. Im even planning to get another alcatel a month from now.

I bought this phone after my old one broke as a temporary thing and i loved it. it didnt do much but it was just kind of cool. battery life was definately not a problem for me - it lasted over a day.

hey, it's new on our market and selling, personally I would'nt buy it for myself but for a young person who is going to school. It's cool for that reason

My friend owns this phone and believe me I would'nt give it a second glance. From dropping the calls she makes to me to powering itself off when it feels like it. It's only redeeming feature is the games (the 'tetris' style game is my favorite) That's just my opinion, if you have one that actually works, well done. It may have the cute looking lights that tell you when you have a call/message/good reception but that doesnt excuse the plasticky feeling you get.

personally i would never purchase a phone looking like that, its light which to me says inferior, then again anything that says alcatel i wouldn't even look at not even once. poor those other people who doesn't know better.

well i think that this is why there are a variety of phones to choose from. They are all placed on a platter for us to twist and turn then make our choices. Digicel never sells a phone and keeps the features of a phone under cover. so at the end, which ever choice we make we pay our consequencies. Also, if we explore with our phones, we would know that there are alot about our phones.

Hey i agree with the dude this phone sucks and all digicel did was bring out a phone whinch i know costs about lets say $10 USD and is selling it for your arm your leg and dont forget your girlfriends arms and legs.LOL Digicel the worst network ever.

I live in Jamaica and all the dealers do is take the cheap ass phone and carry them into the country, then hike up the price them on consumers the phones are too darn expensive and they dont have any features. Not worth our hard earn money.

I am a phone sales rep in Jamaica. And i think AlcatelE157 and E159 is a pain in the ass. Its the kind of phone that disgrace the phone arena. NOOOOOOOOO features so wats the use

Shame they dont import these to Finland, i bet there would be a serious market for phones exactly like these.
No all of us want a hig-end cell, even if we have Nokia ;) They tend to be quite expensive..

Now in Poland it cost 150PLN (35-40 euro) in prepaid. 50 PLN for talk (12 euro)

In Germany you can buy this phone as prepaid (Vodafone)for 25 € and get 10 € for calls included

in poland in pre paid system this phone cost 199PLN = 50EUR, too much :/
