I Like this phone. It has a nice design and feels comfortable when holding it. I also like it for the size and the long lasting battery power it has.

I don't know if it is my problem only, but i am not receiving ALL the delivery reports even when the msgs are delivered! I'm sure the settings are ok!
Am I the only one?

hey victor, i'm thinking of buying this phone, but I am afraid that the battery life is poor, how long does your battery last? and how about the signal reception, is it good?

I'm happy with it (after a week). No-nonsense gsm for those who want a small, light, phone that will allow calling and sms, but lacks fancy stuff.

very weak signal comparing other phones and lacks calender and more useful alarms..think twice before buying it

What i miss is a calendar like nokia´s phones and simple ringtones. Anyway is light and very cool to see. AND THE ALARM LIGHTS ARE AMAZING!

the battery keeps me 1-2 days and it has verry bad signal.

I bought this phone from Orange, and it is ideal for my needs. Only one problem - when accessing the directory it says "Phone busy" and does not work. I phoned Orange and they say this is a known fault with this and some other Alcatel phones. Apparently Orange are waiting for Alcatel to fix this problem, but allegedly Alcatel cannot say how long before this problem will be fixed.
I'm a bit dissapointed that a good simple phone is let down by a probable software fault, and am also dissapointed that the company responsible cannot say how long before it will be fixed. So far my work-around is to group the directory numbers into the Family section and only use this as the directory. If anyone else has a better work-around or fix please post it here. I emailed the makers of the phone listed in the manual(www.tcl-ta.com), they emailed me back with a telephone number to call, but its always busy.

if any body was having trouble with the messages part and in the book it says there is a 'create' bit when there isnt i found out how to get the create bit. when i first got the phone i was looking at all the things on it but there wasnt a create bit so i left the phone to charge for 8 hours and about another 8 hours (consecutive) and then appeared! if you have any questions just email me!
