About the missing file for PCsuit, actually the file is there just that your computer do allow you to access it.
If you download your pcsuit from the official website, you will find a document file with the PCsuit. The document will teach you how to set acees for the installer, follow the step by step instruction will fix the problem.

Yesterday when I visited a cell shop, a salesgirl was having a demo of motorola E398 to a prospective customer. When a "Hotel California" by Eagles is being played in that phone, I've appreciated the phone because it's really nice to hear the song in that phone. However, I believe that the song is being played in OT s853, it will be very much nice to hear it. Can anyone tell me where can I download for free "Hotel California by Eagles? I prefer the old version but the new one will do too. Thanks.

There is NO virus on the disk for the pc suite! It can be however that some antivirus programs or adware programs think there is a virus on it, however this is NOT the case. Still if you want to be sure you can download the latest pc suite on www.tcl-ta.com.

OK.What the hell was that ???!!!!!When I was download the PC suite software for 853, I was veeeery surprised with the virus I've gotted from the installatin disk.Is this the way to say thank you for buyingthis phone???My Bit Defender stop the installing the softwarecos he found this:Deep Scan:Malware.sp!bfd9c68f .What now??I buy the phone but I can't do anything with him!!Please HELP!!!!!

Pablo: I think the best you could do is contact either the US or Argentinian Alcatel service hotline, I am sure they can tell you all you need to know.

Does anyone knows if there will be a 4 band or 850/1800/1900 american version? I want this fone since I saw it, but it wont worn in Argentina.

Dear Gk: The very first released version of the phone (Jan-Feb 2006) supported Mini SD cards of up to 512 mb, now all versions from 169 and up support 1 GB. For more questions feel free to drop me a mail.

The more I use this phone the more I love it. I have use it as a usb modem for DiGi Edge for a couple of months when my streamyx is down.
Works like a charm, sadly the battery can only last for abt 3 hours when use as a modem.
I have been surfing alot on this phone and have installed Opera Mini. OM is a great browser but it doesnt support image saving on this phone.
Just a few question to anyone who has the answer.
-Is there any ebook software for this phone?
-What is the latest firmware in Malaysia?
Asking the shop gets no reply and they want me to send in my phone for a few day just to check is there an updated firmware available.)
-Highest MiniSD size support by this phone for malaysia firmware?
(I know europian version can goes up to 1GB but the Malaysia version is still stuck at 128MB?)

About the rumours. Are they strong enough? You mean after the firmware update the phone Bluetooth connection will be back to normal?

Dear Mike, ever since this phone was in development it was clear the would would use bluetooth only for headset communication. It is not possible to exchange files by bluetooth using this phone. However, it is rumoured that Alcatel will be unlocking this feature for this phone in the next instalments of the phones firmware, but as it is now... it still can't do it YET. Use the infrared instead... that works fine?

i have a alcatel ot-s853 but how do i get the blue tooth between my phone and someone elses phone to comunicate = it keeps on giving problems=it doesnt wana send or recieve files.
Do i need software for the function ?
