Wow. If Motorola goes away this might be something for people like me, who want these features and a nice design, but don't need 3G, Wifi, HSDPA or anything else that just drains the battery and the telephone bill. And of course for someone who doesn't want to pay more for a cell phone than he paid for his computer :-)

I kinda liked it..
common, when you buy things, it doesn't have to be expensive.
like I prefer Creative than Apple for media players!

yes, this phone is amazing for people who actually use their brains when buying a product. It's cheap, good design, features that people actually uses and not just to show off and is not burdened by "premium" branding. what's not to like?

Its just another with all the features i will need.
The point is that always, alcatel sells their phones at a very low price so this could be a competitive phone.

I must admit, this phone looks really nice.
Too bad it lacks in features, well at least the poor people can enjoy it.

The keyboard and this landscape-oriented screen are kinda weird, but that's what makes this phone really stand out... Awesome phone, can't wait for more V series!!!

Alcatel's design have been copied by other brand specially nokia and now Alcatel is doing it too. It is copying the three brands' design but mixed it up.

this phone is great ,but it's alcatel with bad display,if it come in bulgaria in cheap prise i'll buy it anyway

Alcatel wasn't the first to use this keypad... LG had already used this keypad layout before with the KE820, and then Samsung used it too, with the P310. But I guess Alcatel mixed that layout the the MOTORAZR's keypad design.

I've noticed Alcatel had tried to use funny keyboard designs, but I love the individuality...very french way of doing things. Now , more top end models with similar design philosophies please..and my OT-C825's days are numbered haha

This V770 is only one of Alcatels many new phones for the 2008 model year. It will be showcased in february at the 3GSM. It is similar in terms of specification to the midrange C825 but this shows how Alcatel has managed to make that phone thinner and much more flashy looking! Expect this phone to come out sometime in the second quarter of 2008!

w00t im 1st (and probably the only one -_-)....this phone look kind weird, 1.9inch display is good for alcatel, but no 3g/edge/infrared its kind disappointing, but it must be a cheap phone for middle range, so with card slot make it good :)
