Eventually it got so crazy I couldn't even type on the keyboard. So I had to give it up and sell it.

i was excited the first two weeks of possesion this device seemd to have everything you need for a ridiculously small budget but i was fooled... the digitizer is a total mess!!! poor quality glass-like plastic with variable response depending on device's temperature... during playing piano tiles and other games that need fast tapping as the device gets slightly warm the touch panel starts "missing taps" (such a problem on a quad core with kitkat and independent graphics???? how come!!!), wifi and data connection activate randomly; signal takes about 3-5 minutes to recover if lost passing from a poor signal area and last call function is too laggy takes too long to call after pressing the call button and if your partner drops call before you do the device takes about 10 seconds to "realise" the end of call remaining unresponsive... im quite dissappointed,,,,

I have this mobile. I have two problems in this model 1 keyboard is not easy to type. 2 touch sensitivity is poor and front camera is catching dark pictures

And alcatel phones are one best phones in terms of performance and durability only marketing and advertising side really needs improvement. Hope that alcatel could be more aggressive in advertising and marketing for it to be more competitive again in the market.

I started using alcatel 4 yrs ago.Before, I am loyal to nokia. Currently I am using Alcatel pop d5,my 3rd phone with alcatel I am very satisfied and happy. Browsing is very fast. I am sure that this pop 2 is better coz its 1 gig ram and 8 gig rom. I am planning to buy 1 for my son.What I see as this brand weaknesses are advertising and after sales service here in the Philippines. But it is a good brand and the company is in the business ahead of most of the known brands. Hope alcatel will improve on what I mentioned aa your weaknesses and continue selling phones with good and acceptable specification at an affordable price.
