I just bought my Alcatel pop 3 phone a moth ago. Unfortunately there is already a small horizontal lines (stripes lines) almost 3/4 of the screen. Is there any solution of these before I will surrender to a technician?

here's another useful information for how to charge mobile phone battery;
li -ion batteries work better when you are not used to the end 0%,but most to 25 % and then put the battery to charge75-90% , ( why?)
lithium-ion batteries have a rated lifetime of somewhere between 500 and 1,500 charge cycles.
so if it reach 100% or less then 25% then it lose 1 cycle.(the user runs it down all the way to zero before recharging) can degrade to 70 percent of its original capacity in 300-500 cycles
With a DoD of 25 percent, where the user plugs it in as soon as it gets to 75 percent remain, that same battery could be charged up to 2,500 times before it starts to seriously degrade.
Charge a little bit whenever you can.
Lithium-ion batteries don't respond well to being charged all the way up and then run all the way down. They take much better to little bits of charge here and there.
What's far more dangerous to a battery's well-being is heat. Lithium-ion batteries despise heat.
Battery consumption depends on the applications you have installed on the phone and working in the background even if you do not use the phone. such as; facebook instagram messenger if you delete these apps and use them through the browser , thus saving up to 40% of the battery (day)life , the display put on minimum brightness and wi - fi, bluetooth, use it when you need.

Latoya, 25 Nov 2016Why is it that my brand new phone has to be turned off to b... morehow to connect with your laptop?, first need to put the SD card into your phone, now needs to have information, (pict mp3, videos, etc.) connect with your laptop via usb cable and the screen to be used and you'll get information that you bond with your laptop and click to install a driver, when complete press part where is presented the information is that the USB connector, press twice and it opens a new menu with the ability to connect with the USB Memory or only charging , Mark for USB Memory back and pull down from top of screen and you see usb is connected press on now appears android icon and press to connect with the memory, again press on ok and now on the screen of your laptop confirm the connection or continue withoud scanning, open folder to view files, and now you're in your data card, so choose the folder to exchange data with the copy \ paste method . When finished, open the screen of the mobile phone and click on the turn of to preserve information securely.

Why is it that my brand new phone has to be turned off to be charged? It will not recognize a charge when it is turned on, nor will it recognize a connection to my laptop whenever I connect it via USB cable.

Be sure that all the contacts are in the sim card then remove the SIM card and put it in another phone, then opens the contacts -menu -import \ export- select sim card -next -select phone -select all- and mark to transfer to phone- and almost completed except if you want to transfer contacts to a new sim card, then following the same procedure only the first to pull out this
sim card from which you copied the contacts, then put a new sim in the phone , and now contacts that are in the phone only transfer them to the new sim card
or can remain in the phone ,or to have them in both places.

i have POP 3 (5.5) , i want to export the Contacts to another phone , normally i do one of the following:
Export to SD or
transfer via BlueTooth
nothing of the above is applicable in my POP ... how to Export to another phone ?

Indrek, 26 Oct 2016I wouldn't recommend this phone. You cant move/install apps... moreOdd I have all of my apps/games on my SD card. sometimes it resets to store on phone which is a pain. Have to go back and reset to store on SD card. Open settings/storage and the top items should be where you want to store downloads and data. Under apps you can pick an app and move it from phone to SD card and back at will.

What troubleshooting procedures you can provide now to enable me to use again my pop3 (5) touch screen is not responding to operate it, only green line surrounds the apps when touch, but no re-launch or launching any fuctions!
