Hello and am from Ghana.
Please i bought this product for about 3 months ago and just last two weeks i mistakenly let it fell in water and now i can't see anything on the screen. I sent it to a repairer and he told me the screen is damaged so i have to buy a new one to be replace.
I have search every place that i know for one but to no avail.
Please i would like to know where in Ghana i can get one to buy? I need it badly.

Music keeps stopping and starting when it feels like it. As well as that, there I 8GB internal storage. What is wrong with them. There was an 8GB model iPhone 2G and it worked better than this. Seriously, I put in a 32GB as card and formatted it, and it still says i haven't got enough storage. If you want to get a better phone, get an iPjone or a Motorola G4 play. Theyre better

Drives me nuts ! After installing about 7 standard apps, its out of space and I have to delete apps to install others. Do Alcatel even test these phones in the real world? WHO can use a phone like this? A 10 year old kid? I doubt it !

LOW STORAGE! ~ and you're stuck with it under Marshmellow

It ran out of space within a day and I couldn't install new apps.
WARNING:
Marshmellow will NOT allow you to move apps to an exernal SD card (like previous OSs),
unless you format that card as INTERNAL storage. ("Adopted storage")
And if you do THAT then:
* you can't transfer your files to/from your PC in the usual way (i.e plug in via usb and the folders appear). Your pc can't see it.
* you can't remove your ext sd card without problems. The phone now relies on it.
THIS MEANS you are basically stuck with the low storage this phone has!
(Most experts recommend AGAINST 'adopting' your ext sd card as internal storage because of the above cons and a few others, such as high wear on the SD.)

Dear Alcatel, instead of making dozens of models, just make a HANDFUL of models that have sufficient specs to offer at LEAST one DECENT, BASIC phone (at the bottom of the range)!
Clearly Alcatel does NOT start with the consumer in mind. They start with the question: "What price do we want to sell this for and what can we put in it for that price?"
Instead Alcatel you should start by asking: "What is the most basic specs the avg consumer will need, and what is the lowest price we can give that for?" THAT is your entry-level phone.
(And that should probably MINIMUM quad-core, *16GB* of storage (NOT 8!), 8MP camera...Anything less is just going to cause customer complaints that ruin your reputation. People don't care if it was cheap if it doesn't even do basic functions!)
An Alcatel phone that has good specs in one area, usually has shocking specs in another!

Moved apps, pics etc to external SD card but still get the error regularly. The O/S and necessary apps seem to take up 7.5 of the 8GB memory and leave very little room for extra apps (those that cannot be moved to the external memory). Internet doesn't seem to supply any helpful info to resolve the problem.

Annoying...... Was brought to me in Ghana from UK..... After a week de screen doesnt work ...... De most annoying is der x no service centre in Gh to repair it .....

Had to get new phone as old one died.. bought Alcatel pop4.the built in apps took up internal memory so I purchased an sd card..waste of money..as it won't let you transfer internal storage apps onto sd card unless I root it..updating apps I get a message you don't have enough storage..pain in the but having to delete apps I need to free up space.phone freezes in mounts sd card..don't buy this phone

Bought more memory but still doesn't work. No music player app included. Ridiculous. The store said they would take it back - seems they know it is useless too !

The phone is usable and convenient in every way - except it has no memory! A single app will cause the phone to have indigestion and cease to function. For that reason, it is almost entirely useless as a smart phone. Reserve your use to that of a utility spare phone, which is what mine is now demoted to. Just to be clear: do not buy if you want the functionality of a smart phone. My one app is SwiftKey, thereafter nothing could be loaded and other with-phone apps (such as PlayStore) had to be systematically uninstalled in order to receive texts. It's a shame, because the unit looks and feels good. Why no memory, Alcatel? It can't be that expensive? Altogether, a rather odd experience.

Just a correction, screen PPI isn't 441 but 294, and screen/body is 69.5%

Yes it does have a LED at the top and highly recommend it, However you have to get a memory card at least 8GB as once the internal space is full it will start to freeze and the phone will stop responding
