Do not buy this phone. Too many problems.to mention. Front and gets to hot to even hold phone. Freezes or screen goes black when I try to use it and has to be restarted. Facebook constantly opens when I try to get on internet.

I'm new to the whole "smart phone" I had a flip phone (I know I'm in the 18th Century haha) T-Mobile offered me an Alcatel One Touch Pop Astro for free and I've had it for about 5 months and it SUCKS....I've had numerous problems, first being it doesn't hold a charge, I'm charging several times a day, and I work full time and am not on it all day long. It's ALWAYS overheating, my texts don't go thru, my camera was ok but now it takes very blury pic's, and no flash when you reverse the camera to take any kind of selfies, so you can only take them in the day. My GPS or whatever it is ALWAYS says only the city I live in, it never changes no matter where I am, worse phone....!! I called T-Mobile and complained and they sent me a "new" phone, but it was only the front part of the phone, no battery and no back plate, T-Mobile said only the phone is under a 1 year warranty and the battery is only 90 days, called Alcatel and they are sending me a new battery, but T-Mobile is loosing my business after 13 years of being with them, because they could care less about the problems I'm having with this phone. Even though I came from a flip phone I have lots of help with this phone and it sucks compared to everyone else's phones!! I'm in need of a Samsung or an Apple, anything but this phone!! I am the only one out of all my friends and family who have this phone, now I know why T-Mobile was giving them away. Junky phone!!

Worst phone I have ever had. I would prefer a flip phone over the pop astro. Horible, horrible, horrible. Says it come with 4GB of storage but when I bought the phone it didnt even have 1.8GB of storage. Wont even let me download ANYTHING from the play store because it says insufficent memory. And I even have a new SD memory card thats an 8GB in it. Have had this phone 1 week and have not liked it since the day I bought it.

This is phone is not a good buy. It freezes and over heats . Go get a Samsung or a iPhone.

the phone battery drains out really fast, and when you talk the phone gets really really hot to touch prompting you to stop talking on your phone.

Blackberry user , 30 Jun 2015I have had a blackberry curve for many years and am very pl... morei loved my old blackberry and hate this thing. random sounds and turns off for no reason. calls are hard to work; very counterintuitive. camera seems to be the only thing that does work. hard to put in info; cannot transfer contacts from blackberry to it; ugh!!
been at the tmobile store twice and going back today for more "help".

I hate this phone. If T-Mobile doesn't get me a better phone I will be leaving. Do not buy this cray. When I bought this phone it was on the market one week. I have had nothing but trouble from this phone and I've only had it three months.

Camera doesn't focus at all, neither does screenshots. I thought this phone would be decent enough to get a good screenshot, instead it makes it smaller and blurs its worse with text. An SD card is obviously a must have if you want games and music.
