i still have this phone its fun to play around with if you install a CFW on this the camera is better and the phone is much faster
bought this phone in 2013 and for $30nzd brand new its so good

this old phone saved me every time the new amazing phones die just because they have more than 24 months by providing me with a stable alternative option till I mange to get a replacement. and still have better signal that all 1k flagships I've had since then.

I have been using this phone for a long time, this phone is slow today if you update or install more applications , coz it only has less than 512 ram and 1.3 GHz arm A7 mediatech possessor. Now my battery is almost dead. Touch position is not perfect all time , combined with slow ness it becomes awful.
The good of this phone is it's radio plays without ears phone plugs in, display is good although it's lower resolution compared to others.

yes. RAM (512KB) is much less.
Try buying smart phones that have (at least) 3GB ram. Don''t accept phones have less than 3GB.
the lowest price of smart phones are xiaomi, LetV, LeEcho and so on.

This phone really sucks.
I have had Alcatel phones in the past and they've been fine, this is the first smartphone of theirs I had and I was bitterly disappointed.
It's slow (think dialup), it crashes trying to run applications (particularly games), it freezes, it restarts itself and it's jammed with so many pre-installed apps and 'essential' software that they immediately eat up a great deal of your storage space.
At the very least an SD card can be used, except if you go into applications the hone seems to think there is nothing on the SD even if you've moved as many files and apps to it as is possible.
Camera is meh.
I had mine less than a year, it most recently died a very horrible and sudden death - no idea what happened, but I think the hard drive may have died on me. It started off booting but then not loading when I unlocked it, instead I got spammed with error messages saying everything had stopped.
Then it just wouldn't boot.
On the positive side, my preschooler is very happy with their new toy.

my alcatel one touch has developed som problems. so p,lease neeed adivce.
touch screen at the low level does not work.insensitvie.i it does not sense when i touch a number 8 or 0.it insteads opens emergency number.
my sim card for mtn got blocked and its asking me for puk pin. and when i try to enter any number it directs me to emergency number.please help me

Since it has 512MB RAM , dont install application like Clean Master . They stay resident in memory and eat the free RAM . Remove such applications . Instead , hold down the Home button and then press "Close all " to free the RAM .
If the phone begins to restart on its own replace the battery .
It is a nice budget phone . The sound is good . The memory is little . The camera is not great .
