Seems O.K. If only they would print instructions in a larger font size, also the little symbols are to small to see.

Just got this phone 3 days ago, replaced my LG Spirit with this. So far, very satisfied with it!
Pros:
-> Great 5" HD screen with punchy colors, not a washed out lcd like other budget phones!
-> Stock 5.1.1 lollipop with a pinch of alcatel's addons, very light skin!
-> Quite smooth, considering the chipset and ram.
-> Audio quality
-> Camera quality is great in daylight (lowlight however shouldn't be mentioned, it's a budget phone)
-> Very customizable with extra back covers you get in the packaging!
-> Build quality
Cons:
-> Battery life isn't the best (although it could get better with a software update)
-> Will probably stay on lollipop (Alcatel is known for "abandoning" their devices)
-> 8 GB of storage (can be expanded with a micro SD card though...)

This is a lot of phone for the money. It took me a while to get it set up, not everything is particularly intuitive, but for the price I really can't fault it.

HOW TO INCREASE CALL VOLUME
1) Go to Engineering Mode by dialing *#*#3646633#*#*
2) Swipe left to HARDWARE TESTING
3) Go to AUDIO
4) Go to NORMAL MODE and change max vol to 160
5) Go to HEADSET and change both max headset volume and Max speaker volumes to 160 each

Good phone, can be quite and not heard when ring. Phone cokes with 3 battery covers. Seem to not be able to source a case for it or even find out where I can buy other colour battery covers.

this mob is great, but i have one little problem, when someone call me i cant hear him very well, voice is low, how can i increase , i already put to the max everything in "sound" settings, if someone can help thx.

please replace the battery with higher 4000 mAh. Alcatel is my brand, I trust alcatel.I have Alcatel tablet has good battery life.
