Update: The device in the images below is actually the Meizu 22. We received official confirmation from Meizu that it will launch in April.

Meizu made a comeback at MWC 2025 with the Note 22 and mblu 22 series smartphones. Those devices are aimed at the budget segment, but we got a sneak peek at Meizu’s alleged upcoming flagship offering – the Meizu 22 Pro, which was spotted near Meizu’s booth at MWC Barcelona.

The yet-to-be-announced device is seen next to a Meizu 21 Pro, which sports a vertical camera array. The Meizu 22 Pro (provisional name) is going for a different look with an octagon-shaped camera island.

The Meizu 21 Pro was launched in late February last year so we might start seeing some teasers for its successor soon. The upcoming Meizu 22 series is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, flagship cameras, and new AI features. The device will likely launch in China and only time will tell if it will get a global launch.

Fair point.

Bro its called a design and is a something new and in my opinion a lot better than casual traffic lights used by samsung phones past decade. No thanks. By the way why complain if you can make and build your own phone from scratch.
