Amazfit Pop 3S is coming soon with a huge 1.96" rectangular display

Amazfit will soon launch what should be its largest smartwatch yet – well, the one with the largest screen, anyway. The Amazfit Pop 3S will have a huge 1.96” AMOLED display, a high-end panel with 410 x 502px resolution for a sharp 330ppi pixel density.

For comparison, the GTS 4 has a 1.75” display with 341ppi, the Bip 3/3 Pro is smaller with a 1.69” display with 218ppi. With its rectangular shape, this new display can fit a lot of text from incoming text and app notifications.

Despite its unassuming name, the Pop 3S is shaping up to be a fairly premium offering with a 304 stainless steel strap and stainless steel buttons. The display will be covered with 2.5D glass and over 100 watch faces for customization.

The watch will also come with a built in mic and speaker, so you can use it to make calls over Bluetooth. There’s even a contacts app with call history and a standard dialer. The mic and speaker can also used to chat with digital assistant.

The health tracking features on the 3S include 24h heart rate, SpO2 and stress monitoring. The sleep tracking will record light and deep sleep periods, plus when you fell asleep and when you woke up. 100+ sports modes are available as well.

The Amazfit Pop 3S will have up to 12 days of battery life, presumably without AOD enabled. You can track the watch’s launch at the Amazon India landing page. There’s no word on launch date or pricing yet.
