Amazfit X to begin mass production in H1 2020
Back in August, Xiaomi-backed company Huami announced the Amazfit GTS, a square smartwatch heavily inspired by the Apple Watch’s design. At the same event, the company showed a prototype of its Amazfit X – a smart band with a curved AMOLED display.
Today, the company announced on its Weibo account that it will begin mass production of the curvy Amazfit X in the second half of 2020. In the same post, the company announced a new Titanium version of the Amazfit GTS which drops in the Chinese market on December 16.
A new Star Wars Limited Edition of the Amazfit Sports Watch 3 is also on the way and coming to China’s Tmall on December 19. It can be had for CNY 1,699 (~$241) Looking forward, Huami plans to attend CES where it we’ll surely hear more about the wearable brand.
The Amazfit X is a smart band with a flexible 2.07-inch AMOLED display with 366 ppi and up to 430 nits of brightness. It is powered by a 220 mAh battery and expected to last up to 7 days on a single charge. Pricing for the Amazfit X is yet to be mentioned.

I'm cool with the design, I like it. But I'm still not sure about Mi Fit app. Tried it before alongside Fitbit app and if I must be honest... I prefer Fitbit's.
