Amazon UK's best tablet and smartwatch deals, e-readers too
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days wrap up in a few hours – here are the best smartphone offers from Amazon UK, in case you missed them. Now, let’s focus on tablets, smartwatches and e-readers. We’ve separated things into categories, so use the links below for navigation.
Samsung tablets and watches
Samsung’s newest flagship tablet series has a 14.6” and an 11” model. Both are available with a straight discount, an additional £50 discount at checkout plus an additional £150/£100 discount for Prime Student members (these discounts are not reflected in the prices below). Also, you get a free Keyboard Cover worth £200.

Alternatively, you can look to the previous generation, which had a 14.6” model and a 12.4” model (but no 11” slate). While older, these are still quite capable and run a lot cheaper.
The mid-range Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ come in 10.9” and 13.1” sizes, but note that these use 90Hz IPS LCDs instead of 120Hz OLED displays like on the flagship series.
The new affordable tablet from Samsung is the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. This one comes with a free pair of Galaxy Buds FE and a protective case.

Samsung’s latest non-Ultra watches are the Galaxy Watch8, the thinnest in the family yet, and the Galaxy Watch8 Classic, which brings back the rotating bezel.
Apple tablets and watches
There isn’t much going on over on the tablet side of things as only the recently refreshed vanilla iPad is on sale right now. Unless you need the extra performance of the Airs, this one is a solid tablet for daily use.
Only previous generation Apple watches are on sale right now – this means the Ultra 2, Series 10 and Watch SE (2nd gen).
Amazon tablets and e-readers
All Amazon tablets are deeply discounted at the moment, with some reaching 60% off – this is on top of these being some of the cheapest name-brand tablets to begin with. The only downside is that you don’t get access to the Google Play Store, at least not out of the box (wink, wink).
The Kindle Kids and Kindle Scribe Kids are aimed at younger users, so they come with protective cases and no ads by default. You also get an Amazon Kids+ subscription, which offers unlimited access to books and graphic novels aimed at children aged 3-12.
That said, for graphic novels you probably want the Kindle Colorsoft too. This one is available in basic, Signature and Kids editions. Signature adds wireless charging and an auto-adjusting front light. The Kids edition gets the usual stuff: free case, no ads and a Kids+ subscription.
If you need to read documents or prefer to sketch your ideas on a larger canvas, the Kindle Scribe is available – these are the 2024 and 2022 releases. The newer model is pricier because it comes with a more advanced stylus plus AI and Active Canvas features.
We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
